Do you want to get stuck in place with thoughts and no actions? Don’t be a statue, take actions and live your life.
“I’m practically saying that to myself, because I really need motivation. Lately I’ve been feeling like a statue, no movements and dynamics. It’s time to make a change, it’s time to take actions, because life isn’t going to happen unless I make it.”

Hey Steven.
You are right on point here. That hesitation period is garbage, and needs to be tossed away. Whatever separates us from action is garbage as well.
That guy in the comic represents a lot about what we do. We sit there in inaction, then later are behind, then think about being behind, and it is a cycle of nothing. The guy turning into a statue is just about right. I will keep on rolling thanks to messages like the one you have provided here.
Moving train of pictorial messages here.

You are absolutely right Armen, it is GARBAGE!
Trust me I’ve done a lot of those “garbage” lately, and I’m going to step up and start takin’ some action. The first step was just me drawing this comic, irony eh? (lol)
I’m glad you enjoy the comics and the messages that come with it, thanks for coming here and reading/commenting regularly Armen, I appreciate it.
Steven
I really like how you get to the point with this pictures! That’s another great article!

Thanks for reading Oscar
Funny! There is a concept about this in psychology, called rumination. It’s the process of thinking the same unproductive thoughts, about the same thing, over and over again. Like a cow, ruminating its food. Very useful image association I’m sure

Steven, this was really good! I loved the comic ending, scrolling down, and seeing the statue.
FUNNY!!!! You appended a smile across my face the size of Montana (pretty big!).
You not moving?? No way – you are a mover and shaker.
Thanks, superstar.

Hi Steven:
Great post and especially the message. I’ve been stuck in this kind of thinking for a while. It’s great to think, research and analyze things but at a certain point one must take action. In some ways it is good for me to learn that other people go through this, but at the same time, I wouldn’t want them to go through it.
Hey Tim, welcome to my site! I hope you enjoyed your read/stay!
You are right Tim, it is good to dream, but I don’t want to become a dreamer, I believe people would rather want their dreams achieved rather than constantly fantasizing about them.
I have been going through this for a long time now, I am a huge time procrastinator, but seriously it really sucks to be like that. In some ways, maintaining this blog is causing me to be persistent and organized
Well Tim I hope both you and I will never get trapped within the passivity in our lives.
Thank you for the comment, I appreciate it
Steven
I can’t recall where I first heard this, but have heard it many times over the past few years, in many different places. So, here goes:
A person, listening to a piece of beautiful music with longing, complained, “I’d love to learn to play, but do you know how old I’d be by the time I learned to play the piano?”
Her friend replied, “The same age you’ll be if you don’t.”

Hey Gayle!
Brilliant quote! It pretty much sends out one of the message that I want people to realize when they read this comic. Take action now, because the only result you’ll get is progress. If you fail, you’ll learn from it as an education. If you succeed, then you gain momentum to work harder. Take the time in your life and do something, or else it will be wasted. And don’t live your life as a lifeless statue.
Thanks again for providing that quote in your comment.
