		<description>Hey Gayle!

Welcome to my site, I hope you enjoy your stay here.

Thank you for the comment and read. I&#039;m glad you agree with my view of human actions/motivations. Love and Fear are the main drives behind our thoughts and actions, you are right.

Unfortunately Fear is the bigger drive in human beings, we&#039;d rather do something in life in order to avoid something happening to us than to take action and make something happen. That is just the natural mindset all human beings have...and it is best to make use of it instead of letting fear control us in our lives.

Thank you Gayle for calling it superb advice, I appreciate it! :)

		<description>What a great article, and so true! I&#039;ve long thought that we humans have basically two emotions, and all of our other emotions are subsets of those two: Love, and Fear.

Fear is a huge motivator, and if you know you&#039;ve got it, why not try to turn it around and put it to good use?

Superb advice, Steven, thank you!

		<description>Hey Eduard,

I used that quote to tell people that everybody has the capabilities to succeed at their goals. The only thing that is holding people back from success is their mindset. It is how they associate fear and desire with actions and inaction.

I do believe that the majority of people are the ones who underestimate their potentials, instead of having perfectionist expectations as you said. But hey, it is the ones who dream the impossible who brings revolutionary advancements and ideas into this world. We need those types of people :)

		<description>Hey Steven,

I think you identified some very plausible causes for lack of success. The first quote do, about anything being possible, I tend to disagree with it. I understand that a lot of people dream to small under never realize their potential, but &quot;anyting is possible&quot; goes in the other extreme. It&#039;s the kind of thinking that crates perfectionist expectation. Maybe I should write about it soon :)

		<description>Hey Lori! Thanks for dropping by.
I hear you on that relationship problem. That is one of the major reasons why many people are just stuck in relationships no matter how abusive they are. Many fear what the future holds for them if they did make a change, so many end up resorting to avoid the future changes in order to stay with what they are familiar with...no matter how painful it may be.

Thanks for letting me post on you great site! :)

		<description>Hi Steven,
This is great!
A few years ago, a good friend of mine was stuck in a bad relationship. I asked him why he didn&#039;t end the relationship and his answer was this, &quot;The pain of breaking up with her far exceeds the pain of the relationship.&quot;
&lt;b&gt;What???&lt;/b&gt;

So, yeah, I hear what you are saying and it is very true. Sometimes we need to push through the pain and dark clouds to get to something better, and that can stop a lot of people (me included!) from reaching for a better life.

Great post and thanks again for posting at Jane Be Nimble recently. I love how you use comics to help convey your message! :P
~Warmly,
Lori

		<description>Hey Oscar!

Thanks for the comment. Many people must know that the pain of inaction is greater than the pain of action. Because that is when real change happens.
